Mohammad Solaiman Salim is an important member of Haji Mohammad Salim family. Not only that Mr. Solaiman has an aim to create a social harmony and equality among the people of this country for which he has taken several agendas to develop and execute gradually. • As a young & moderate politician, Mohammad Solaiman Salim is following his father’s footprint in terms of reaching out to mass people and political engagements. During this time, he got a chance to see and observe the social and political context of his father's constituency 'Dhaka-7' very closely. Although he did not want to be in it at a very young age, he had to enter politics as his father's political assistant.
• Due to the apolitical policy of the BNP-Jamaat alliance government, 1/11 was created in the country in 2007. A military-backed apolitical government comes to power. At that time, the field of politics became empty when repression started against the political leaders and activists of the area including his father Haji Mohammad Salim. Then the arrogance of the youth Mohammad Solaiman Salim stood by the side of his father's political colleagues and Awami League leaders and activists. Ignoring the bloody eyes of the administration, he cooperated with the tortured leaders and workers.
