As Mohammad Solaiman Salim belongs to a political family from the very tender age, both his parents are business persons cum political figure in the country and one of his brothers is also a Ward Commissioner under Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC). So, Mr. Solaiman inherited business skills from his parents. During the family turbulence from 2008-2021, he steadily maintained the business of Madina Group and paved its path towards making Madina Group one of the best conglomerates in the country. Tiger Cement, a renowned household name in the construction sector of Bangladesh founded by and belongs to Madina Group until 2022, when this unit was sold as a part of unanimous family decision. At one point the cement industry of Bangladesh was dependent on Import based products, Mr. Solaiman helped his father establishing this brand-new cement factory which was one of the first to be established in Bangladesh. To meet up ever-increasing demand of cement in the country, Mr. Solaiman gradually increased the production capacity and helped the national economy to grow at a remarkable pace. Besides this Mr. Solaiman is well-versed in the business of Shipping, Real Estate, Trading, Manufacturing, Polymer and Power & Energy Sectors. For the betterment and bringing business dynamics, he brings corporate brands, marketing, sales and accounts and finance under proper accountability and developed world class reporting and monitoring system through implementing of SAP. He holds the Deputy Managing Director (DMD) position of the multi-dimensional business conglomerate namely Madina Group.
